The newly renovated Seniorsfirst day program and respite care facility, located in the Schmitt Resource Center adjacent to Valley Manor Apartments, held its grand opening on May 19. Spacious activity and dining areas as well as cozy living room spaces welcome clients during the day, and three bedrooms with private bathrooms accommodate overnight respite guests. Dan,
from Penn Power Systems, Buffalo, NY, gets our new
diesel-powered generator ready to go. In the event
of a power failure, this generator will take over all
the power needs for the apartments and offices of Valley
Manor with a mere 30-second gap in service.
