1570 Gallery

Described by a leading area artist as "a jewel of an art gallery", 1570 Gallery opened in 1985 as a cultural center for residents and non-residents alike. It was designed to professionally exhibit the works of accomplished regional and national artists and to celebrate the diversity of art in our community.

The multi-media exhibits change about every two months and feature an opening evening reception complete with guests, flowers, music and hors d'oeuvres.

The 1570 Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday,
between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

For more information, or to arrange a private tour, please contact our
curator Jean Pope Boyle at 770-1923.
